[snippet SNIPPET-NAME="NOTE"]
PBP Dengar was produced in Spain, using the original Unitoy, family 2 mold.
Due to the different plastic used in Spanish production. The PBP Dengar figure has a more defined/sharper sculpt detail. It can also have a distinctive smell.
Darker, more purple paint was used for the armour. Compared to the more brown armour paint of it's Unitoy predecessor.
A much paler, more cream coloured face. Compared to the more yellow face of the Unitoy figure.
A paler, light cream plastic was used for the PBP figure, compared to a warmer cream colour of the Unitoy figure.
Lighter brown paint was used on the PBP figures back pack, compared to the darker brown of Unitoy figure

[snippet SNIPPET-NAME="NOTE"]
In this comparison pic below, we can see the subtle variations in face colour. all three are PBP figures. The left figure is a beater figure. It's fragile, pale cream paint has flaked away. Showing the pink colour of the molded plastic beneath. The middle figure has a thinner application of pale cream paint. So the pink plastic beneath, shows through. The figure on the right has a thicker application of pale cream paint. resulting in slightly less detail in the face sculpt, and a much paler face, as the pink plastic beneath does not show through.
However a pure pink, painted face PBP Dengar variation can also be found.

[snippet SNIPPET-NAME="NOTE"]
[section_header][/section_header]PBP Dengar has two slight coo variations. Because on some of the PBP figures produced, there was some damage to the coo filling material used on the mold. Resulting in part of the filling material breaking away, revealing the original coo stamp underneath.
