Display stands Empty Display stands

Post by arohk Sat Jan 07, 2017 2:42 pm

Hey guys I was wondering where is the best place to get stands for vintage figures, I found one site but before I buy a bunch I wanted to see if anyone bought from this place or knows of another in North America shipping would be cheaper and so is the exchange rate.

I am looking at getting 100 rectangular action figure stands and want to ensure they will work with the Vintage figures.

Here is a link to the one I found with the type of stand I want to get.

I agree with Andy.  Send Iain a PM and see if he has what you're looking for.  I really liked the 1" & 1 1/2" round stands that Iain recommended for me. Very Happy

He's located in Florida.

What do you guys think about stands widening the foot pegs or even stretching the feet of the figures? I was looking into them for a while but a couple advanced collectors locally really tried to talk me out of using them. Thoughts?

Thanks for the votes of support guys - I really should do a thread of all the products that I have available. I am in the process of setting up an online shop in Australia which is taking up a bit of my time (and cash) right now. Once that is done then I will be able to ship from the US, the UK and Australia so hopefully keep the shipping costs down for collectors through the world - anyone who needs stands in the meantime can always drop me a PM

As for the comment about them widening the foot peg - I have never really come across this. The peg holes pretty much across the board are 3mm diameter - there are a few exceptions with figure like the C3PO and DSD which are made out of different material. This is the same size as the pegs that you will find on the play sets and is also the same as the discs that were releases with the Palitoy Death Star and the Cantina. The only thing I can think is that someone used a wider peg - the Small Joe stands that are designed for GI Joes have a wider peg and they would expand the hole .
