Great News......

I wanted to give everyone an update as to why I haven't been very active on here lately....My wife and I had tried to adopt for a few years, but things never happened for us, so about 3 years ago we stopped....We just figured we would be Aunt and Uncle, but fate had other plans....About 6.5 months ago word got to my wife that a young mom was looking to give her unborn son up for adoption...I was skeptical because we had been through this before and we were lied to, but decided to meet with the mom....We did and it has been a crazy, in a good way, whirlwind since then.......There was a lot of paperwork, legal stuff, and a home study......We talked about names, and at first I avoided any Star Wars names, but I kept coming back to Luke.....We settled on Luke Owen, both Star Wars names, and #BabyJedi Luke was was born on June 6th....We were in the delivery room, and have had him since minute One...Over the last few months we have been in a legal fight with the bio dad's side, but that finally ended on Friday.....We won our court case....Now we wait a few months for one more court date to make it official.....I couldn't imagine my life without him.....He's a healthy and happy baby Jedi.......Luke will turned 5 months old on November 6th.....We took him to his First comicon on October 28th, and he got to meet Darth Maul, Ray Park.....I just can't wait to share all my Star Wars love with Baby Jedi Luke....I'm a stay at home dad, and I'm going to start being more active in the group again....I included a couple pics....One from Force Friday and one from yesterday.....
