Silver anniversary figures

Post by grinchy on Mon Mar 19, 2018 6:44 pm

Here we have a line of figures I'm very fond of, Hasbro produced 6 figures done in a silver finish for the 25th Anniversary, they display really well, took me around three years to get the set, hardest to get was the vader from toy fair the one with the sabre sticking up through the bubble, this is also my favourite of the six,

I’ve seen that R2 a few times and thought about getting it. Pretty nice.

I had no idea of the extent of the line though. That Toy Fair Vader is pretty wild, is he painted purple and blue over the silver finish?

Cheers mate, the toy fair Vader is a pewter colour, the reflection makes it look purple, they are a nice set

I don't know about any newer stuff much but these are very cool Ian , nice set . that vader is crazy . id like to be around in 50 years to see how that one held up lol! . it doesn't seem like the most stable of packaging ideas

Cheers mate, the vader packaging is not the best, I don't like the sabre sticking out like that, but its on display in one of my cabinets so should be fine, check back in fifty years lol!
