Fantastic info Clint - after looking closely I believe the R2 sticker would be considered the "reflective background" and the rest are the prismatic background cheers

I didn't even notice there was a difference until I read the post you made bowwing

I'll update the original post soon Very Happy

I'm glad that you can tell the difference between them.  I wasn't sure, and because there isn't any other pictures to compare them too.  It's probably easier with them in hand.

The SWCA has them listed as an unlicensed product, but they clearly have TM & LFL on them.  Do you think they would have been licensed by LucasFilm?

I can't say I am positive on the difference but the R2 sticker is the only one that doesn't have the prismatic rainbow color effect around the edges , it is just shiny silver .

Not positive if they are licenced or not but , as Chris said , it certainly wouldn't be the first time bootleg products had a LFL mark .

What makes me think that they could have been licensed is that they are too identical to the packaged stickers I showed above that were definitely licensed . If the Vending Supply company didn't have permission from Lucas then they were ripping off Lucas Film and the original manufacturer as well . Most , if not all , of the other obvious bootleg stickers shown in this thread tend to be based on other licensed stickers but the quality is noticeably lower .

Puffy Stickers

Return Of The Jedi (Made In Taiwan)

The sticker package style of this series is a obvious rip off of actual LFL licensed items that were released by a company called Butterfly Originals .

The backs look the same on all the packages in this series :

This set has the same decals as one of the sets above but the header card is different .  Also note that the Rancor Monster sticker is orange instead of green :

Interesting point Clint, but it wouldn't be the first time that an original tm made it on to a bootleg. That being said, if you're referring to the seperate stickers with the character/vehicle names, it's a wonder they were included at all if they were bootlegs.

I'm still struggling with seeing that big ass 3D Klaatu sticker on the first page lol that is somehow more outrageous than him having two figures to me. Also, some of those characters on the ROTJ sheets really don't look familiar, I didn't think I was that green lol one kinda looks like an interpretation of a GG but not based on any art I've seen.

Thanks for the great photos James!  rockon
