Captain Phasma collection
Started a small modern focus with an under-represented and deceiving character, but oh well

Great side focus. I wish we had seen more of that character in TFA. I don't know if we will see her in any of the upcoming movies, as I presume she was blown up at the end.

Well she's in the cast of Episode VIII so I guess she must have found a way out of that trash compactor too, I'm not hopping for much more though. But hopefully there will be more about her in coming novels or comics, anyways I've always prefered finding more about under-exposed characters in the EU rather than in the main movies (not sure we can still call what stands beside the movies EU anymore ).

Nice focus Nicolas! Very original.
Considering they used such a high-profile actress in the role, I'm guessing Captain Phasma will have much more screen time in the next episode.

Only Captain Phasma and no other characters from SW Ep VII "The Force Awakens"?
As for me I'm for collecting the 4" and 6" Black Series REY (Jakku) and waiting to get hold of the 4" Rey (Resistance Outfit) figure. Probably a Hot Toys Rey and BB-8 2 figure set.....

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I hope for a helmet-less figure of her with the next movie!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I'm getting the basic 5poa 3.75" single and 2 packs figures and I'm trying not to buy too many things besides these (well except Tie Fighter and Phasma related figures of course )
I'm usually not buying many modern lines figures except if there's one I really like (and most of the time it was Imperial stuff), but I admit this winter with the "new movie" effect I've bought more than I usually do and things I don't really need to own Well I'll probably end-up selling a few things in a few months.
I haven't bought that much since the 30th Anniversary collection in 2007! I skipped on most of the other modern lines before and after that one, except for a handful of Vintage Collection figures and a few Black Series (the ones with the Tie Pilot cardback).

Very cool and I love that model will have to locate one of them myself. Now on a side note Captain Phasma was a wus she should have taken one for the Empire and not dropped the shields .

Very cool focus Nicolas, She is a badass looking character. But like the other guys I was disappointed not to see more of Phasma in TFA, but look forward to seeing her character develop further in episode VIII.
great focus mate, you're off to a good start in quite a short space of time

Re: Captain Phasma collection
Hey Nicolas,
Ever since seeing Captain Phasma in the first TFA trailer, I was intrigued by the character. So I understand your choice of a focus around her. It is a pity she didn't have that much screentime. Hopefully her character will develop a bit more in the following movies.
Great collection all the way. Great Japanese set.
I agree with your statement about background characters. It is fun to see them develop in EU stories. Thinking about Dengar, 4LOM, IG88 etc. they are all characters with only a few seconds of screentime.

Exactly! I hope in the coming Marvel comics to have more stories like the Lando small series.

Re: Captain Phasma collection
That Toys 'R' Us exclusive Phasma did have a unique looking metallic finish. I'm not sure what the process is but if its just paint its a shame they couldn't do something similar on the Walmart Black Series exclusive.

Yes the Black Series version looks poorer than the cheap one. I have sold a big part of that Phasma collection though, I only kept the tall black series and the Kotobukiya statue.

That ToysRUs exclusive 12" looks pretty good for the price. There's a great video of a customization of it on YouTube where the arm is modified and it's given some black acrylic weathering.
Re: Captain Phasma collection
It's nice figure for that scale. Though in Europe for only 20 euros more you can get the Kotobukiya statue which is in my opinion the most accuratly detailed.
