Project 4K77 & 4K83

Some of you have probably heard about this copy of SW and ROTJ, scanned from an original 35mm print, with minor colour correction and de-noising. These files can be found for free online if you know where to look. I paid $50 on ebay plus shipping for the pair just so I'd have them burnt to blu-ray and with nice cases and labels. Worth every penny. I watched Star Wars last night. This is the version we all want, and who knows how long we'd have to wait to get it officially.

The dream is alive. cheeky popcorn

Check out this clip, it will give you a taste of the work that these saints did to preserve an original 35mm print of the film. Can't wait to watch Jedi. They haven't got a good enough copy of Empire yet (as I understand it).

I got the DNR versions, What you're loosing is just grain and distortion in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of grain on these lol but I feel that the NO DNR version is so fuzzy that it almost distracts from the film.

Either way you go, its the best version of these two films ever available in their original form.
