Nico wrote:Cheers Chris mate I am meaning to get one of those cabinets from IKEA to get a display going, currently most figures are in acid free bags stored in shoe boxes and old biscuit tins
yeah I hear ya mate. Since moving into my new home, I don't have the space to display any of my collection. When My ex wife and I separated, I had to pack it all up quickly. So it all got chucked into storage boxes loose. But now I have stored all my figures a bit better. By wrapping each figure in acid free tissue paper and placing it in an acid free, plastic, clam shell case. The cases are then stacked up inside cardboard storage boxes.
The benefit of having to do a daily lateral flow test, every day for work. Is that I've saved all the little sachets of silica gel and placed one in each clam shell case. It's cost me quite a bit in clam shell cases though, as I have close to around 400 figures! But it does mean that I can stack them and handle them safely, without the risk of them getting paint rubs etc....

wow congratulations Dave, that was an amazing find!
The red bar R5 looks in great condition too. Even beater figures of this variant are going for crazy prices these days.

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
I picked these two PBP Luke Bespins up, on Ebay last week. A dark brown boots, unpainted hip and a chocolate boots unpainted hip.
Neither seller knew what they had, so i picked them both up for a bargain

Chris C. , that's an awesome pick up on the Bespin Luke's.
Chris (poncho), I've been following that Ephant Mon custom figure discussion on RS & FB.
I'm glad to see you have received one in person & I'm looking forward to watching your video review tonight after work.

Thanks guys
Chris that Ephont Mon custom is very cool. It kinda looks like he used the vintage Emperor figure as a basis for the body sculpt

Picked me up a landspeeder for the collection it needed a bit of tlc. Someone superglued the back thruster on backwards which wasnt a easier fix than I thought. It looks fine on display now [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
Awesome landspeeder, Chris! The windshield looks pretty good, that’s the main thing as many I’ve seen are usually yellow or scratched to hell.
