Re: grinchys star wars props
Going through some older pics, found these, predator bio's life size made from fibreglass and resin, first up the classic P1 bio, this is a favourite of mine love the design of it
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I decided to scratchbuild an interior, you never see inside the bio in the movies so I was free to create anything, so I took a load of resin greeblies and got stuck in pleased with how it turned out
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
this next one is from AVP, not the best pred movie but still worth a watch
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
finally the wolf bio still have this one

Those look fantastic Ian.
I don't think I've seen any of the Predator movies after the first one.

Re: grinchys star wars props
have you ever considered sculpting a bust of Darth Vader, from ROTJ, when Luke removes his helmet.
I bet that would be an awesome project for someone with your skills Ian.

Re: grinchys star wars props
cheers mate,. i have considered doing vader, but i'm not set up really for making the helmet, that would need to be fibreglass or resin, so silicone moulds, it gets really expensive when your doing mixed media projects, but maybe i can just do the head let whoever gets one worry about the helmet
I finished the sculpt of Paul, now its on to moulding

Got the rubber head from the mould, here's the nearly finished head, still got some detailing to do, and make the fake spliff
