Poch Toxic Green Hair Hoth Leia ??

so I recently got (finally ) a poch green eyebrows leia hoth . of course the eyebrows are gone . Sad
anyways its not an easy variant to come by and ive been looking forward to her arriving . to my amazement her hair is green ?    the seller didn't tell me this fact . surely it should have come up but nope . anyways this reminds me of the toxic green limbs bossk topics that have been around and back to the age old question , is it degradation ? either way it surely is very cool and unique . anyone else have one like this ? check er' out       Very Happy

I also have the figure you have pictured here . this is the more common version of hoth leia . the one im asking about is quite different

Beside the Leia Hoth this "green" colour can also be found on the Princess Leia hair, the Chewbacca bag and once I saw a Luke Farmboy with a metallic green belt (unfortunately I wasn't the highest bidder :-( ). But these aren't Poch figures necessarily. So I'm curious about it. Hopefully someone can bring light into it. I couldn't imagine it to be a Kind of Degradation??? Don't know

poor sonic weld
sloppy paint on the boots
bubbles in paint meltmarks on the back and butt
greenish brown boots matches my other poch leia hoth and poch brown haired luke
there is just no way this figure would've passed kenners production standards
its almost uncanny how many signs point to poch production but your opinion is your opinion and thanks for it . really my only question is if other people green eyebrows poch leia hoth has this green hair . im not saying its degradation (although I do think it is 100% ) or not im just curious if other peoples have truned this way also

Don't want to deny your Hoth Leia is a Poch Bill. Just wanted to mention that there are other examples of metallic green figures out there which are not Poch. I'd like to know if there is a thematical connection.

Dirk, I think Bill's Hoth Leia has the hair colour discolouring green and not the metallic green example. The metallic green is a similar but different problem. I seem to remember James [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] mentioning that the metallic sheen can be removed with a soap and water scrub.
Bill can you confirm the hair is not the metallic problem?

yeah Clint definitnely not metallic green . its just pure green if that makes sense . that's where my question lies . there is also VERY faint remnants of a left green eyebrow
and the eyes are also a faint green like the eyebrows would be if they were left .

As said before, some times figures can be found with this kind of green colour, Chewy bag, Leia hair etc. In these cases this is a result of discolouration so it's possible that the same has happened here.

Sorry Bill, I do not yet own a Poch Leia, so can't offer any comparison for you.
