Huge News For Canada - Mark Hamill Coming To Fan Expo in September

For those of us in Eastern Canada that cannot make the trek to the US or overseas for Celebration events, we rely on the annual Fan Expo to meet some of the stars of the films. Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Dave Prowse, etc., are all familiar up here. However, there are two huge names that to my knowledge have never done a fan event in Canada, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill.

This year, scratch Mark Hamill from that list.

Not much info yet, regarding whether he'll be there all four days, or the cost of an autograph, etc., but still, this is a rare chance to meet the one and only Luke Skywalker in person.

That would be great if you guys could get the chance to meet Mark. But be warned his autograph is not cheap! Fom memory he was charging £100 at his last UK appearance (Ouch!).

I wonder if he will make his way to the Vancouver fan Expo in B.C. that would be really cool, I may send one of you guys who are going a card to get signed if you don't mind just in case.

I was working at that fan expo on a documentary so I got an ESB poster signed . $195 Canadian if I remember correctly. Just about the most expensive modern autograph .

I was tempted to go. Unfortunately, I had a mountain of work to do. My wife and kids went. They said it was good, but they didn't get any autographs.

I was kinda in a similar situation, I was working at the Stan Lee event while my brother was in line for Hamill. Complaining to me about having to wait in line. Kids these days. No regard lol

It was only 2 hours and then he got to meet space jesus on my dime. That boy just ain't right lol
