Re: my modern collection so far
Ian, that tree looks great. Is it inside a cabinet? What are the slats over top of it??
That's a fantastic autograph wall. Especially when you have guests over, and they walk past it.

Re: my modern collection so far
I collect both modern and vintage, love to see other peoples collections, thanks for the offer Larry, not after anything in particular at the moment apart from the McQuarrie figures, sadly for me being in the uk its not worth me buying from overseas as postage is a killer, would love to see your stuff though

Re: my modern collection so far
I will see if there are any McQuarrie stuff I have, I am doing up a package for Chris anyway so I can always put it in there. It is cheaper for me to send a large package to the UK then a small one. And I sometimes just risk sending without tracking when it's a gift he got them all so far .

Ian, those are fantastic. Well done. I've never seen the box for the spirit of Obi-Wan before. I have one in the baggie somewhere.

cheers Clint,
I've seen plenty of plain white mailer boxes for the obi, but hadn't seen the printed box, I have him loose in the display already but having the boxed as well is nice
Thanks Nico

Ian, that's a great idea. Hopefully there is some kind of door stop a the bottom of the door.
What did you use to hang them with?

Re: my modern collection so far
Cheers Clint, the door opens safely, just the cards move slightly each time which is a nuisance but only takes a moment to fix, as for hanging them I used small round headed nails that you get in a picture hanging kit, do you know what I mean, plastic tray with separate compartments and different fixings for picture hanging, worked a treat

Re: my modern collection so far
That's a great idea using the picture hanging kits. I started using a clear plastic hook system from 3M that comes with double sided tape. That way you're not putting holes in the walls or doors. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes & styles. Also in white colour.

Re: my modern collection so far
Nice pickups.
I'm not a big modern fan but some of the TFA stuff actually looks quite good. I enjoyed shopping over Christmas for my nephews. The Star Wars indoctrination has well and truly begun.
That Kenny Baker custom is rad!

Those decorating clips are a good idea, I was looking at something for the wall space, those will do the job nicely, cheers Clint
Hey Bobby, yeah I like both modern and vintage stuff I think it goes together really well, glad you have your nephews into the films, and glad you like the Kenny custom its one of my favourites
