Beth (my daughter) insited that we do a Yoda. I suggested making a sculpure out of two Cantaloupe melons as the skin is the right color & texture, but the boss said no.

I have a couple pumpkins in the house, warming up. But I'm still looking for a specific shape. I have to go get groceries in a half hr. So I'll look to see what they have at the store.

It was a challenge carving the dome. That pumpkin is from my mother's garden. And for some reason, all the pumpkins she grows, are harder then hell. The skin is thick and tough, and the "meat" is usually 2" (48 cm) thick and hard as hell. I should have gotten out the chainsaw. lol!

James, that gif, is exactly how it was to turn out, in my head. cheeky

Agreed, I like the way Chris (Poncho) scraped away some of the skin in places and completely cut it away in others, great effect mate, I might try that next year cheers
