Grading
Hey guy's I am looking at getting some loose figures grade, I know there are a few companies that do it. However I came across this one and was curious if anyone heard of the.

I haven't had any graded in the past so I am not sure who would be the best
Thanks everyone
Larry

Re: Grading
I've never heard of that company, I don't own any graded pieces myself Larry but if I lived over your side and I was thinking about it I'd give CAS a go.
I like the way they display the weapons rather than just stick them on the side of the case with a piece of tape.
What are you thinking of grading loose figures or MOC mate

Re: Grading
Not a fan of grading myself but yeah, CAS seem to be the only company I would use. They are very collector relations focussed.
Re: Grading
I'm not a grading fan, but that's up to each collector.
Never heard of them?

I have a few loose one's I would like to have done, one is a possible Toltoys ESB Vinyl Cape Jawa. I am getting to many conflicting answers on authenticity so I thought grading would be the best way to prove it. Everything I read and every photo I seen says yes and when some go it's fake and then offer's over $100 it make's one suspicious .
I got it here at a toy show with a few other item's and all of them were fine. All were from a collector who passed, They were being sold by his kids who were getting rid of them. They were not collector's.
I will contact CAS to ensure they do one's like that.

Re: Grading
I submitted a couple figure/cardback combos to CAS, should have them back in a couple weeks. Those will have a grade on the loose figure. I'll make sure I share them here when I've got em.
Re: Grading
As has been said, Not a fan of grading and particular not loose, but I would agree that CAS is the way forward as they are open to innovative ideas on display, I gather you can pretty much tell them how you want it and they'll do it. More importantly concerning loose figures, they actually display the weapons face on and not on a side panel where the only angle you can get to see them is obscured by the grade sticker, great idea and much more pleasing on the eye. Unfortunately, concerning loose, the figure is still obscured by unsightly huge acrylic cylinders on the shoulders meaning you'll never see the sides of your figures heads again... well not until someone 'paroles' them later down the line
