Akials Vintage Custom Playsets

Well I see there is still a lack in the Diorama category. That shoudn't be  
I'm doing a lot of customs with old rotten playsets, similiar to customize beater figures. The first to finish is this one. It is made from an old cantina playset, which turned into an Echo Base Diorama.
And it is a nice place for my Hoth Custom Figures.

Close up right side. The famous movie scene with Luke in the Bacta Tank and Han and Leia concerned about him. BTW Luke is made from a Walrusmans Body. His Body is as wrinkled as it would be after 35 years in the bathing tub. And the diapers mold is already given. With gasmask and Luke Jedi head it Looks pretty good

Same question I had, as well as the screen that is clear with green stripes on the left side.

Thank you all. The bacta tank is made from a plastic which is used for graveyard candlelight to protect them from wind. It's not 100% clear so there is that blurry effect on Luke. For Toryn Farrs Screen I cut a foil and taped it to the cantina table and painted it with a green foil marker. Unfortunately I couldn't find one who's colour is more shiny, but it works.
Actually I'm really proud on this because last week I won first price in an competion on Facebook. First Price is a Sandpeople 21back moc. Not mint but hey (!) what a great price for a collector. I really look forward for the postman.

I had plans of making a Galactic Heroes version out of out of an ImagiNext Green Lantern base, but only got so far as customizing a GH batch Luke, Toryn Farr, FX-7, 21-B, and Probot.

Very cool I need to get my butt moving and get some of the vehicles done for dios.

Thank you Andy and Steve :-) The Vader is made from a Bib Fortuna head as this one has the grey pale skin and those staring eyes ;-)

Very cool love the way you did them up. And Luke in the tank is awesome looking.

That Vader is great reminds me a bit of nosferatu

The colour of the light really helps blend the background in too.

I always liked the Ewok Village Playset…… but the real action took place at the shield generator…….. and hey what I have ARE Action Figures.     
Though this is my Vintage style Custom Playset. Made by Ralph McQuarrie art backdrops, a painted Hoth Playset Base and a bunker from the Imperial attack Base. Added 4 Custom Figures made by myself. Enjoy 
