Here's one I recently saw on a certain online auction site. The product of an Ewok BBQ?

Nice figures guys.
I have a bunch of figures sitting on my desk, that I've picked out for this thread. I just have to get them photographed.

Thanks Chris.
Unfortunately, that's the small pile of extra droid parts. Luckily, I can re-purpose them, like you said.

Some great additions Clint, like James, I love the scar faced Han Hoth and the dismembered Greedo. I really like the green splat DSD too :-)

Re: The Island Of Misfit Toys
Thanks guys.
The 3PO in the last picture (on the right) is very silver. The picture doesn't do it justice. I have a few more pictures to take. So I'll try taking that one again.

Re: The Island Of Misfit Toys
I bought a joblot of figures (mainly beaters) on ebay some months back . It was a childhood loft find nothing special and I came across a this Darth Vader figure that I didnt have the heart to strip of its incorrect accessories . Love the fact Chewbacca's cargo net has been used a cape ! genius
This figure reminds me of why I collect and I'm sure most of you will think the same, the nostalgia of happy days of playing with Star Wars toys as a small boy and having adventure.
I present the 'Imaginative Play Darth Vader' ... I'm gonna leave him as is including the (frosting/dust)

Thanks Poncho (Chris)

I love the Vader with the cargo cape too

It's really cool to see people give a little love to the beaters and misfit toys - the wear and oddities just show that they were loved

I hope you don't mind but I will probably refer to you as Poncho because I love the name

It reminded me of this scene from Orgazmo ...

Nice paint job on that stormie too Jim

Looks like these figures were subject to some very imaginative and playful minds over the last 30+ years

Re: The Island Of Misfit Toys
Until today I had a broken/beater/chewed cracked torso well loved Trilogo Fett (painted knee/unpainted wrist dart combo) in my box of bit and bobs who could not stand up and all his limbs could spin round 360 with ease.
see below

Went to the hardware store today and got some plumbing tape wrapped it around all his limbs and he stands once again, probably the first time in decades!

I may even let him in the display cabinet next to his pristine-ish brother! lucky broken Boba
enjoy
