Re: my modern collection so far
So growing up one of my favourite cardbacks was the Jawa, just love the image and the racetrack logo, just got this from one of the facebook groups i'm on, gets me right in the feels, i'm like that with most star wars card backs, but this one stands out to me

Yeah that's a great looking figure! I've been getting into the Vintage Collection a bit but mostly the weird stuff like the Expanded universe figures and Clone Wars. Seems like they are getting pretty close to releasing new VC equivalents of the original Kenner 96 though, that LFL 50th Anniversary wave gets them pretty close.
Re: my modern collection so far
Cheers mate, yeah they are doing well on the original kenner run, won't be long before they will have redo's of all the original figures

Some very cool new additions Ian, well done mate
I really like the Kylo Ren figure, he looks badass
The RTOJ Fett is great too. Looks like you could have fun with some really cool poses, due to all those accessories. Definitely need an open one to play with

Re: my modern collection so far
Cheers mate, the Kylo ended up being a pain, sent in a black bin liner with no protection, so the box was crushed, got a partial refund on it so thats something
As for Boba, yeah I'll need another, see if i can get a good deal, thanks buddy

I liked the six inch version so much that i bought the 3.75 version, love the card art on this one, the leg on the cardback art looks a bit funky but i can live with it

That looks great Ian. It's very vintage looking, but with a bit more detail on the figure.

Re: my modern collection so far
Cheers mate, with these figures for me its all about the cardart, i don't have many of these vintage collection figures, i haven't got the wall space for them, but certain figures are a must

Re: my modern collection so far
I bought the tantive 4 playset, i was not interested in the carded figure, so went for a cheaper open version with the rebel trooper removed, i have a version of him already, this looks like a decent enough playset for the money

Re: my modern collection so far
So i have been eyeing up some display stands for my modern vehicles, they look really good but shipping from Australia is a killer, but i found one for my legacy falcon here in the uk on ebay, so pulled the trigger on it, should be a nice addition to my painted falcon
heres some pics, first up the stand itself, then a falcon resting on it, i love the flight angle,

Re: my modern collection so far
That's so frickin cool Ian
If I ever get the space to display my collection again, I'm definitely getting some of these display stands. I think this guy, on Facebook, fabricates and sells them. He's based in the UK.

It looks great Ian.
How stable is it on the stand? Or is it a little wobbly?

Re: my modern collection so far
So i broke my Original trilogy only rule on this purchase, it was pretty cheap so i don't really mind, general obi in clone armour, a decent figure, i've had it before loose, sold it on, glad to have it back, that sticker is a bit unsightly might have to see if i can remove it
