I never saw one of these up close until today, goddamn it's beautiful lol Very large, highly detailed R2-D2.

I could imagine some simple custom work with a couple led's and a motor to turn the head slightly and this would be amazing. I'm sure it's been done. Was more expensive than the newer c3po for some reason.

Anyone have this?

I had to look it up. Looks pretty cool though. And big.

Looks a decent size and even without the lights its impressive, I would give it a wash with acrylic to bring out the panel details, R2 shouldn't be pristine white
