Nice custom droids Ian. I recognize the bronze 3PO droid as well.
I would love to make one of the Kenny Baker droids, some day.
I've changed resin & mould products recently and have dramatically improved the quality of the pieces that I'm making.

Re: Custom droids heres a few of mine
I may have one or two kicking around.
I couldn't reach all the 3PO's & DSD in the cabinet, without knocking everything over. And falling off the stool that I was standing on to reach into the top shelf of the cabinet.
I made most of them. The green/yellow one was from James.
As you can see, I still have the prototype R5 units with all the air bubbles in the domes. That I was testing paint schemes on.

Thanks Ian. I really enjoy making figures from the OT, that Kenner never made.
I don't have a steady hand or very good eye sight. I have to wear my reading glasses and work under a magnifying glass lamp. My hands shake a little bit. My grandfather and a couple of his brothers had Parkinsons. I may be starting to show signs of it. I usually have a couple of drinks to help steady the hands.
The new resin that I started to use. Has several nice pigments for tinting the pieces. I did a small test of the flesh colour a few weeks ago, when I got the products. This should help with a lot less painting, and improve the quality of the figures. Hopefully I can get back to making stuff in the fall.
