Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
first of all thanks to james for the tantive han hoth trio from the pumpkin competition

and now too My latest loose variant purchases
Han Solo Pin head (painted legs)
interestingly i rarely see these come up for sale UK side mainly moulded legs. i see them a plenty State side. strange i wonder why?. anyways it wasnt described as painted legs but i could see the white boot scuffs bought from ebay uk for £20 i thought it was a good price
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Next : PBP white/cream face PBP AT-AT Commander No Coo Scarred
quite common in Europe BUT a bugger to find without nose wear, the nose is more often than not chipped. i saw this in a little job lot for £7. hes in extremely good nick has a tiny prick of loss on nose but hardly noticeable. chuffed
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Next : PBP Umber/Ginger Imperial Commander No coo Scarred.
Wasnt described as PBP and picked up for £15 the picture was grainy but it paid of as this figures paint work is amazing his limbs are stiff. well chuffed. Interestingly this PBP variant also depicts a curved thumb which exclusive to pbp i believe.

Next : A upgrade of sorts a Han Solo Pin head, I already have a nice pin head mouled legs. how ever spotted this bad boy @ £10 buy it now with free postage. would be rude not to buy i thought at the price! its limbs are stiff and hardly any paint wear bargain . to be fair it wasnt listed that well. more fool the seller i say.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Lastly : One of my Secret Santa presents from a SWFUK member. A kenner 1991 Robin Hoof Friar Tuck Figure. Not Starwars i know! to those that dont know kenner recycled some of the ROTJ toys (Ewok Battle Wagon,Ewok Forrest Playset, and Gammorean
guard) for the 1991 Robin Hood line. The Below figure is a retooled/recyled Gammorean Guard used to make Friar Tuck. A novelty if anything else but interesting.

Although not vintage this is one item I have been after most times it was either to much or I was broke but I found it here in the city finally.

Congrat Fabrice. You should be able to find Jabba's accessories fairly cheap on ebay, to complete him.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Yesterday I came across a beautiful complete 4-Lom at a local comic/collectibles store. Finally got the complete squad with weapons! (IG-88's big gun is there but composition is key lol) So I thought I'd round them up for a group shot in the concept art pose. Pun intended.

That jacket he has is really great, nothing like it in the line lol never had one till now. Now I just need a complete AT-AT driver and 13 of the 17

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Thanks! Forgot to mention that I do have a complete Dengar, but he is surely easiest to find and not in the concept art lol so omitted.
Go figure, the one that McQuarrie didn't paint is a mash up of snow trooper parts and bandages lol

FINALLY... I stumbled on a haul
Living in Oklahoma, southern Oklahoma none the less... we don't find too many exciting finds outside a loose figure every now and than at a garage sale with no weapon (wish Kenner was located in Dallas instead of Cincy! lol)
But FINALLY, I got a message from a guy who had a lot to unload from his BIL who had passed away. When I showed up and paid what he was asking, I was shocked with my find. A few LAST 17, nearly the whole EWOKS line and several Droids figure, including both Fromm's! 100 in total. NFS!!!!
PS: no coins but all have their correct weapons. The MOCs are beaters (Cloud City pilot is decent).

Ryan, that's a fantastic score. Well done.
It must be tough to beat those vultures from Enid, OK, to the good stuff.
Did the Falcon chair arrive yet?
