The Buckethead doll looks fantastic. As does the nativity. I was looking at the nativity closely, to see if you added any special modifications to the figures? But I didn't notice any. cheers

Luckily the figures were already painted so all I did to them was glue sand to the bases Very Happy

I use to paint the small scale D & D lead miniatures when I was a kid but I'm not sure if my eyes could handle the tiny scale anymore lol!

Around November our local Hastings store went out of business . I bought quite a few Walking Dead figures when they were marked down to 80% off What a Face

While I was shopping I noticed they had a bunch of the ReAction figures and a Twilight Zone Santa caught my eye because Christmas was coming up and I thought my wife would like it for a tree ornament so I bought it .

This is the version of the figure I bought :

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

We thought it was odd that the figure was color and decided it would look better black and white . To us it just looked like a plain old Santa done in color so I custom painted it black and white ...

While I was painting it I did a google search for Twilight Zone Santa and came across this  eek

[300][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/300]

Apparently a black and white version was made by Funko , making my figure the most pointless custom in the world  lol!

But ...

The story gets even better ...

After finally looking a little closer at the package of the figure I bought I realized that the color variants were limited edition - the Santa we have was # 298 of 672 made  banghead2

I thought about using a Killer Kane for the entire custom but the Pizer figure was a better match for the costume and head . I had a very yellowed and paint worn Pizer which I only had to file the chest emblem off the torso to make it look closer . I used Kane's arms because Pizers had molded stripes on them that I would have had to file down . The thumb on the knife hand was broken so I used miliput to make a new one - the knife has been molded and glued into the hand so its not removable .

It was one of the easier customs I have done What a Face

What about using a popsicle stick (cut to length) for the blade and then molding the engine/handle to it with putty? Might be approx. the right scale?

my father is a lionel train collector and while I cannot stand
BORING ASS trains , they make figures to scale on different gauges of trains . you might check train dioramas for your chainsaw OR just buy a leatherface from
the reaction line and use his . im sure your leatherface will look better than funkos anyways .

My wife is a huge fan of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation so last Christmas I started making her a Cousin Eddie RV . I didn't get it done until just a couple days ago lol!

The closest looking toy rv I could find was one that was made by Tootsietoys in the 1970's but l I forgot to take a photo before I started working on it so I had to borrow this pic off ebay ...

[600][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/600]

One thing that amazed me about the toy was the detail that was put into the sculpt of the interior , particularly when it could barely be seen . The first thing I did was cut the roof out for better visibility and then I gave it a basic paint job ...

[600][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/600]

[600][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/600]

Of course Cousin Eddie's RV wouldn't have been clean on the inside so I did my best to make it look dirty ...

[600][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/600]

I also needed to make it look rusty and dirty on the outside and I made wreaths and Christmas lights out of milliput ...

She likes it but she's known about it all along . I can't really work on custom stuff when she's not around because I do it on evenings that I have a little spare time while we're watching TV . I actually had her give me a idea of what the color scheme on the inside of a RV from the era might have been . As far as I could tell you never actually see the inside of Eddies RV in the movie scratch
