Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Got to meet up with Clint and a couple other guys at a recent toy show in Mississauga (I'll post some photos from that shortly in the con section).
I was able to pick up a couple cool things but I wanted to share this Kenner Canada colouring book that I was gifted from Clint. This is one of those things that I wanted, but always seemed to overlook at these shows, thanks very much! (Clint also gave me a couple Ewoks VHS tapes... but you guys don't want to see those. )

That’s awesome. He’s one I still need for the Canadian MOC run, I’ve avoided a loose one because it has a black imperial blaster. I’m sure the glasslite weapon is beyond rare if it’s unique to that licencee. Condition looks great!
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Great Thall Joben, Andy. I take some sick satisfaction in having him MOC as there are probably plenty of people who would try and open it for the blaster (Since a loose black blaster meets or exceeds the value of my Thall Joben MOC )
Here's my haul from the Mississauga Collectors EXPO (photos now posted in "gone to the con") [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Canadian ESB Dewback (There is no Kenner Canada SW one)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Canadian Land of the Jawas (Thrashed, but cost about $20 extra after getting the dewback from the same seller.)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Canadian Hoth Leia (Survival Offer) Paid for this a while back but I picked it up around the same time as the rest of this stuff.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Alan Harris autograph He played a number of costumed characters throughout the trillogy.

Thanks! I’m pretty excited about the dewback, neither have the instructions unfortunately, but the dewback box is in pretty nice shape.
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Bill, that's a fantastic Glasslite Kez Iban. You must be stoked to add it to the collection.
Andy, that's a great Thall Joben.

Thanks for posting, Chris.
Reading that excerpt was fun, especially as C-3PO was right.
Loving the Micro Machine Millennium Falcon. Great line.
I totally dig the Canadian MIB Dewback. The ESB logo on this box looks super cool.
Clint: Sweet cardbacks and cereal pamphlet. Congrats.
Fabrice: Never saw that Ewok puzzle before. Nice!
Chris: The Sandskimmer is by far my favourite body rig. Now get Barada to sail it.
Andy: Cool PBP Lando with a half scar.
Do you also have the Poch Lando?
Great looking Thall Joben too.
Richard: Congrats obtaining that Krayt dragon piece.
Bill: Nice pick up the Glasslite Kez Iban.
Thanks again guys for sharing all your new stuff.
It is a big pleasure to go through it.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
A few weeks ago this bad boy was waiting for me: Rancor Keeper Trilogo 65-back PBP Hybrid Card.

[300][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/300]
A massive thanks to Ahmed for helping me to obtain this great cardboard piece. I understood he is one of the rarer (even rarest?) hybrid cards out there, and I have long been searching for it.
[200][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/200]
The Fatboy Slim cover from the album 'You've Come a Long Way, Baby' could not describe it in a better way.
Now the hunt starts for the last remaining hybrid card to complete the set.....a pesky little Ewok!
I hope he will be easier to find.
Cheers
Marco

Marco, that's a great card back, and it's in fantastic shape. Well done.
What is the Ewok that's missing? Are there only a few hybred 65 backs?

Thanks, Clint!
These Spanish hybrid cards are an oddity, having a Trilogo front, and a 65-back at the back.
Presumably at the time PBP wanted to release the Trilogo cards, the special offer campaign for a free figure was still running, so therefore it was decided to keep the 65-back for a limited time.
Only 8 figures were released on those hybrid cards:
- 8D8
- B-Wing Pilot
- Luke X-Wing
- Nikto
- Rancor Keeper
- Teebo
- Zuckuss
and....... Wicket!
He is the last one which I need to complete the hybrid cardback run.
All figures were imported from the Asian factories.
Except for the Luke X-Wing hybrid card which came with a "Made in Spain" sticker, and was packaged with a rare PBP figure having the pinkish white face.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Thanks for your positive feedback, Clint, Andy and Bill.
Andy: The "black neck" Lando is one of my favorite Poch figures as he can be recognized as a Poch figure instantly (in contrast to many other figures, think R2, R5, PD, IC, DV, etc.).
Good luck hunting the brown neck version.
Cheers,
Marco
