Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Check out this cardback collection I picked up from a local collector. It was about 60 of the 79 Canadian single carded figures.
He had been going for debut back in terms of the number of figures advertised, but he was mostly ignoring the "A, B, C, D" variations etc.
I had 6 that he was missing right away, so its pretty close. I'll also probably try to replace some with their technical debut card.
EDIT
Also, here's a couple pieces that CAS just finished up for me. It's a loose graded figure paired up with a cardback. It took a long time for them to finish these pieces but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. However, if I'd known when I submitted them (some months ago) that I'd later acquire a substantial Canadian Cardback collection, I might have kept them as they were. BUT then again, I can't imagine a much better way of displaying these cardbacks. Both loose figures got an 85.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Thanks! GW acrylic does have a sliding bottom case that can hold a cardback and a loose figure, but it was designed to fit all figures including the larger ones like the Gam Guard and Amanaman so it doesn't look great with most of the earlier figures.
I actually would have preferred something that I could open, but there isn't anything on the market that looks this good.

Great new acquisitions

Here's my haul from the Mississauga Collectors EXPO (photos now posted in "gone to the con") [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Canadian Land of the Jawas (Thrashed, but cost about $20 extra after getting the dewback from the same seller.)

Canadian Hoth Leia (Survival Offer) Paid for this a while back but I picked it up around the same time as the rest of this stuff.

Firstly sorry that I haven’t been on here for a while.
Chris just got to say those Canadian items are fantastic, if you ever want to pass on that Leia let me know, love it.
Congratulations

Glad you like that stuff, Nick. I'll keep that in mind but it's probably gonna be with me for a while.
That toy show had a lot of great stuff. For those who would like to check it out, I posted a bunch of photos from it in the "gone to the con" section.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Alright, lets get nuts!
First random bit of nonsense here is a pair of Macanno magazine adverts which were cut out, I they're from ebay, quite cheap, interesting seeing the reverse, one has an Atari ad. AAND also interesting to see IG-88 there as the most recent SWTVR podcast seemed to indicate that Meccano had no 12" IG-88 (I'm probably mistaken )
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The next thing is a Canadian ESB 41-back Chewie that appears to have been part of a multi-pack, I had been watching it for a while thanks to a tip from a local collector, but one I heard Simon on the SWTVR podcast point the audience to this particular seller, I got my bid in quick. This was the seller that recently sold a Sears exclusive, "Skinwrapped" Luke Hoth for around $150 Canadian.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Lastly, a complete Canadian Jabba set with some sealed components, inserts & instructions too. (anyone else have one of these, what catalog did it come with? Mine had a Canadian ESB catalog inside, could be a mistake by a previous owner)

AND this!
