Re: Commander Clint's customs
Are you needing a Jedi Luke cape Chris ?
If so , a good one or one for customs ?
If Larry can't help I know I can - I have at least 2 or 3 good ones (couple variations as well) and I think I have at least a couple less desirable ones if its for a custom
Since I need to send you a package anyway I can save Larry the shipping charge and throw them in with your huge box

Re: Commander Clint's customs
as it happens Jim I need both
I need a cape to go with my Taiwan painted face Luke (plus the other accessories for that matter), I also would like to pick up a beater cape for my Garindan custom (which i have yet to make).
If you can help me out with anything, that would be amazing Jim
man that box is getting bigger all the time

Re: Commander Clint's customs
Cool Larry , I'll hook him up
I do have a good one to use for your custom Chris
I have a green saber but no gun
I have 3 sewn capes and one snap cape but to be honest I have no idea how to tell a Taiwan version
I'll just take pics tomorrow and send them to you to look at and hopefully you can tell

That's awesome James, thanks Bro
I have a snap cape on my molded face Luke, so the sewn one and the green saber would be great
to be honest, I dont know if there is a difference between the HK and TW sewn capes either
Thank you also to You, Larry, for your kind offer

Fantastic artwork Mate I wish I were as talented with the brush as you are. Do have a lot of ideas but sometimes fail with a really good paintjob . But These are really fantastic love them all. Thanks for sharing

Same with me. I really wait for Christmas - to have some time around the hobby. There are two more cantina aliens I started with in summer and haven't finished yet.

Thanks James. Once again, it looks better in hand, than in the HD from the camera.

That's an awesome custom Clint!
Is that one of the figures that you cast yourself from resin, which you talked about in this thread : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Re: Commander Clint's customs
Chris, The entire figure is cast in resin from original pieces. I've cast all the pieces separately, so the head & legs articulate like the original vintage R2's & R5's. The only thing that I haven't got working properly is the clicking sound when the head turns.
edit, I've just added it to that thread as well.

Re: Commander Clint's customs
Thanks Nicolas & Andy. There are 3 droids with the R4 head that I wanted to make, and this is one of them. The advantage of the resin parts is, I no longer have to find massive amounts of beaters to use.
