I was actually going to recommend Preacher because Julie and I liked it . Neither of us have read the comic or know any of the background story so maybe that's why we liked it

The only thing I had ever heard about the comic was when it 1st came out it got rave reviews and a lot of praise for Garth Ennis .


We missed the Outcast preview - I will have to ask my wife to program it on the DVR so we can watch it

Yeah Preacher is an amazing comic mate, easily in my top five best ever.

I think Outcast starts properly tonight.

I just watched the first few eps of Wayward Pines. Quite good.

I usually watch lame Alaska shows to be honest .... port protection , life below zero , Alaskan bush people etc ... Love them !!!!!
I wanted to see preacher but forgo about it , oh and we dvr the price is right , no im not 100 years old I just like television that is

It was the American show hosted by Bob Barker, seems like he was there for a million years. I think Drew Carey took over.

Did you watch Fear of the Walking Dead?

I've almost finished the first season of Z Nation. It's okay but probably not going to bother with the next season.

I'm currently 5 episodes into 'stranger Thing's ' I love the 80's nostalgia of it. It also has a kind of Spielberg, Goonies kind of vibe to it. Plus it's had a few vintage Sw figures and vehicles shown.

Preacher is next on my list.

Struggling a little to get into Preacher but I'm a huge fan of the comic so I'll keep going.

My wife and I really enjoyed Preacher - I would even say it is our favorite series besides The Walking Dead

I am glad I haven't read either comic because I would probably be disappointed in the TV series . It never fails that , if I've read the book , the TV / Movies are always a let down .

If you watched the last "Talking Preacher" after show the guys explained that they wanted to give more of a lead in and chance to get to know the characters so they deviated from how the events played out in the comic . Apparently the plan is to start next season more like how it is in the comics


I am looking forward to Fear Of The Walking Dead but not nearly as much as the regular series return in October

I keep thinking "Stranger Things" & "Preacher" might be good. I'll have to give them a try.

Sounds like I need to give Stranger Things a try.

The last couple of years I have gotten more into TV shows than I have in 30 years. Honestly. TWD and FTWD are #1 and #2 on my list. But I also watch The Last Ship, The Strain, Z Nation (it's a trainwreck that I don't like much but can't pull away from), and Zoo. That's about 5 more shows than I have regularly followed since the late 80's....

I'm deep into Preacher and Outcast and loving them both. Took me some time to get used to Preacher but really into it now.

Stranger Things was good. I just finished the season.

I'll have to check out some of the other shows mentioned.

Finally started Stranger Things. Only watched the first episode but bloody loved it!

Watched the first couple of seasons of Wayward Pines and really enjoyed them as well.

Going to watch 12 Monkeys while waiting for Walking Dead to start again!

Finished Stranger Things. Amazing!

Watched the first two episodes of Westworld and I'm hooked already, Seriously so good.

Stranger things was great. Looking forward to season 2.

I just started to watch Luke Cage on netflix.
