What's in your movie or tv playlist?

totally , im glad im still able to fish . although i will always love golf . its like golf christmas this week , without a doubt my favorite major is the masters , then the british open .

Anyone watching American Gods? I loved the book and really enjoying the series so far (and the comic adaptation).

A great cinematographer I work with regularly hasn't shut up about American Gods since it came out so I'm quasi obligated to check it out as well.

Saw Alien Covenant, I give it 7 silent space screams out of 10. Beyond some ignorant space cadets taking a negligent approach to alien biospheres, (just as they did in Prometheus) is was a good time. Really enjoyed it.

i just finished watching Narcos on netflix . wow simply amazing . i watched the whole thing (2 seasons) in 3 days .
its the story of pablo escobar in case no one knows what its about .
really well done also , i highlky reccomend it

Finally picked up BBC's Planet Earth II. Great but not life changing like the first one & "Life Story" was lol

Then the ratings came in. Story structure wise, it could have probably ended, but it can be easy to continue the story with a similar cinematic style. I very much doubt the lives of the surviving associates became boring right at that moment.

Watched the first season of Narcos and it was brilliant.

Going to start watching The Handmaiden's Tale soon, look great.

It's comedy about living in a small Canadian farming community with a touch of hockey thrown in.
Farmers, goth's, hockey players, village idiots, drinking, fighting, etc....
The main actor grew up in Listowel, ON. and is roughly based on the town.  It's Jr. B hockey team.  It's St. Patrick festival in March (Pattyfest). etc...
Luckily I grew up west of the town, so I'm not grouped into the "degenerates from up north".

Just started watching Marvel's Defenders on Netflix.

narcos season 3 came out sept 1st . i'll be watching the entire last season of game of thrones on my buddys hbo to go because i wont pay for hbo . it'll take me 2 or 3 days

I know I'm years behind but I picked up HBO dvd series 1 of the Wire (£1-99 delivered in awesome condition) I've really enjoyed it, a great series

A prison drama called OZ is also a great series to watch

I see Narcos on netflix, but haven't watched it yet.

I've only watched season 1 of Game of Thrones.

Will have to check out the Wire & OZ.

Saw T2 3D last week. I am not a fan of post converted 3D, 90% of the time it's done terribly, (Including TFA & Rogue One) there are foreground and background elements that are out of place, almost causing your eyes to hurt if you notice them as the distances make no sense.

This is not the case with T2 3D, it is expertly done as you might imagine, personally overseen by James Cameron himself. The sad part is, it was only playing in a single theatre opening night at my local cinema, and it was one of the smaller ones where you can't pick your seat in advance. Not only that but the first day it was out, it was only about 1/3 full. The reason this is sad is that there are plenty of ignoramuses who haven't seen the film because they are 18 and just assume its old and terrible.

The 3D effect was fantastic, I felt like a shotgun was aimed at my face regularly. See it if you get the chance. I was lucky having not seen the film in years so it was very fresh for me.

The real shame is, James Cameron said in an interview recently that "Aliens" (1986) would be next for a 3D update if T2 made enough money. I sincerely doubt it will.

Man I would love to see Aliens in 3D!!!!!!!!! Would scare the crap out of me...
